I guess the big difference is the Veyron does it reliably, forgetting about the mega running costs etc. If you run the Veyron on the edge like the other cars I am sure it would be a fair bit quicker.

If only that were true with the old ones, they couldn't be any more unreliable, out of control and skittish!

If you compare it to some of the other super cars, that only run 12s, its damn quick.
