rpm signal / rpm pick up - Zeitronix Wide band for logging

hi can someone point me in the right direction for the RPM signal wire
i need to 'pinch' the signal that it sends to the rev counter
wheres the best place to pick it up from?

tried searching using different phrases but have given up now

Im using Zeitronix ZT-2 wideband and will be logging tomorrow to check AFR against boost and RPM
also hoping to install a eurotherm controller and fast acting temp probe (T/K series )to get ACT at two different points on the intake (after intercooler and at carb) to measure heat soak of the pipe work .

Wire for the rev counter is on the aei, if you want to take it from the back of the dash it's pin 8 and 5 from the most right connector

Be sure to check it with a Fluke though!

"Thin grey/brown wire to the fuel pump relay "

im guessing this is the rpm signal wire that activates the high speed/full load of the fuel pump after a stated RPM eg 2000 rpm ???

is this chap located in the passenger footwell?

still waiting for my haynes manual to arrive !!
I need i the wiring diagrams!

No, the fuel pump relay uses the tach signal to decide if the engine is running or not, and so to energise the pump or not.

    Yes, passenger footwell, long looking relay, 5 wires I think;

    thick red = battery live
thick white = fuel pump live
    thin black = ground
    thin yellow = ignition live
    thin brown/grey = tacho
