You going to be running the car at Sat Night special to see what the C1J can do before pulling it out?

Lovely project mate! How much boost does he want to run?

Afaik it's on the standard megane rods which are piss poor, i would think skimmed pistons could take a beating but the rods will probably go first

it will only be running 300/330 hp arthur so the standard internals should be fine, it was running 17psi on robbies t34 and made 330hp which is all mike wants

Re: OLA Reddie F7R Engine Transfer Project

That's some copy and paste pm going on right there, didn't fancy writing that out your self then?

300/330bhp is plenty of power in a 5! Good to see project thread on the way now.

I've had the injectors sitting on the desk for over a month, I've actually just put them away as you know I've got some packing todo.

Anyway, I've still got the clips that hold them on too, I need to give them to ya at some point, that said, never heard back about if Mike wanted the 650cc injectors or not? I'm sure we're sorting some thing out.

It was actually 16psi with 290 torque and that figure was with a leaking turbo compressor housing and exhaust manifold leak at both ends badly, since had the flange plate machine flat, so expect better figures and earlier boost etc turbo dependent.

dont worry boss theres goin to be plenty of pics, the main man james5 is doing the fitting and he will be doing pics and updating progress knowing james thought it will be done in 1 week

id also like to thanx arthur tutuur for lots of info and turboted for info and he will hopefully be building a 1 off downpipe as this car has a homemade exhaust manifold and not the traditional log type.

It's looking like my turbo, down pipe and full exhaust is not going to be used atall now, could of made a deal for the lot for less then you paid for just that turbo.

Also, not only that, I've got spare set too of the Denso K20a coil on plugs (Same as Scoff using.) going spare to which I was guna use on that F7 set up. Maybe do a deal for them with the 650cc injectors I no longer need.

sometimes we need to find our own way. we may listen to others regards pros n cons however if its how you want your build to go then go 100% its like making your order at starbucks ect, its your preference, you try it, and go WTF this is like costa coffee knowing that perhaps you should have listened to others saying don't waste your dosh on that. but its still sometine you wanted to try. need to get my finger out also n crack on with my build. good work and speedy build
