    Air Research M10

Been offered a turbo, it has air research m10 moulded/stamped on it. Looks like exhaust housing has .35 moulded into it. Any ideas what this is?!

Ah cool, not heard of air research before. Guy seemed to think it was some sort of hybrid.

Yeah ive been doing some searching and apparently a lot of the garett ones had airesearch on them instead of garett. Googling seems to suggest the M10 was a T25, although the compressor looks smaller than id expect a T25 to be and the fact its got 0.35 on the exhaust means it may be a T2. So im wondering it if might be some sort of T25/T2. The seller said that when he bought it it was pitched as an uprated turbo, better than a stock T2 but he cant remember if that meant it was bigger than a stock T2 or just had uprated internals, like 360degree bearings. He also said it doesnt boost up until later in the rev range and had more lag than the stock T2.

I will see if he has any pix of the front housing to see if theres any other markings on it, but looking on line most of the airesearch ones didnt, they just had the name.

Is the diameter of the T25 turbine wheel bigger than the T2 - maybe I can get some measurements off him if that will help me.
