    bbpt clio turbo kit

Anyone had one of these fitted?

is it a good kit? (i know it's expensive) or a load of cheap ****?

would a gt2554r be too small to run on one of these?

As from a lot of posts in the past, you can make/collect from different sources parts to have a better/cheaper conversion. One thing I dont like about that kit is the ECU, just go for a standalone version which is much easier to use if you change any parts on the car.

As for the turbo, I recon it is too small turbo as my GT28RS spools up under 2k so couldn't imagine what the gt2554r would be like to use. Doubt you will get as good as power from it when in place, but no harm in using it really.

Nayls don't waste your money on it mate , you can build a f7p/r turbo conversion for alot less money. Your best bet is speak to people on clio16valver site as quite a few have turbo'd clio's

Would that be the one on eBay? 2.5k dont seem bad, just because its a williams really and they go for a fair penny in NA format. Really its down to the build quality and parts they have. remember seeing that it needs a turbo and has a leak????

if your shrewd and use used parts, 2k to diy it. and another 500 for low comp pistons so can go high boost! williams lump itself will set you back best part of 400 quid

bbpt uses fastchip chip in o/e ecu/loom etc. not ideal but does the job, i intend to have the current setup rr mapped at some point at 21psi and see what it makes lol
