    Some help on poly bushes please

    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    I see these on ebay but got different sizes I have a phase 2 r5 gtt does any one know the size or will I have to take them off and measure, also is this a good price and are these the best bushes to get, thanks alot

    Personally I would go with Powerflex as they do the complete range for the 5 gt turbo Which will save time, quality is spot on too. Anti roll bar outters all the same size/shape, as are wishbone bushes. Inners are a different story though as many alternatives listed on here:

    Yes you need to measure as there is no hard and fast rule as to what was fitted to each car or has been changed over the years

    No worries, measure anti roll bar, then when you take inners off check them against the pictures on the powerflex link to make sure they are the correct shape and then you will have the part no. to order.

    When you fit the new ones, a small 'G' clamp is useful for the bracket to allow you to get the bolt in, and the bush will possibly need to be turned 180 degress so the gap or split in the bushes is opposite where it was on original bushes to get it to close up properly once the clamp bolt is nipped up. Thats what I found out
