few questions

Hi folks
can anyone tell me the diameter and length of the roll pins in renault 5 doors I think they are 6mm but im not sure and no where near the car to measure them, also im going to drill them out to for 8mm pins so what size of hole would i drill 8mm?? or would you drill it under size say 7.5mm, and does anyone know any where selling cheap oil im sure i got castrol on a deal at asda the last time for £10

I wouldnt attempted the oversize. Its ball ache. Just get the 6mm standard ones. Its the pins that wear, not the holes (from my experience)

Replacing the door pins was the first thing I tried, which only made a slight improvement, has anyone had any success with larger pins ?

Now a days normally need oversized pins as there has been years of wear to both pins and hinges keep both sizes in stock.
