How hard can it be! having interviews and no success! It sucks!

Got an appeal meeting next week with work to see what they have to say about the unfair dismissal so hopeing in a way they offer me my job back as getting one thats decent just seems hard!

Anyone got anywork going? Lol.. savings i had are now gone so car is deffinately on hold for now if it comes to it il end up selling some bits just so i can live and pay bills..

Currently doing odd jobs n bits just to earn abit of cash to pay bills..

Jobs are in short supply mate.

I was made redundant in feb after our firm lost the VW contract to another outfit down south. The new firm who won the contract offered us jobs in Kent for the same wage and no moving package which nobody took as it was a pisstake.

It's taken me from the 7th of March until last night to finally get work again and even now that's only through an agency.

Best bet is to sign up with as many agencies as possible. What is your trade westy?

Thats a joke mate! Iv been out of work now since 1st of march.. Head doing just being stuck at home to be honest more than anything..

And i was currently doing fabrication/welding but also got level3 mechanics too just dont really wanna go into the typical mechanic trade though rather it more towards performance or restoration kind of side of it..

Might be worth posting a 'job wanted' type thing on Facebook. Get a few of your friends to share it and with a bit of luck, the right people may just spot it.

Yeah know what your saying.. Best iv had so far is from a place my mate works doing water/drainage in which i dont mind doing as something diff just there going though changes atm so got to wait and see if they come back with anything

I am a union rep who deals with appeals etc all the time. If you want, you could PM me what happened with regards to your dismissal. No promises but I may be able to give you some advice on how to go about your appeal.

Alright fella.. Cheers for that a mate who lives oposite me was a union rep at his old place so got him helping me with it all and acas concilitation is currently going on too..
