    Struggling to start from cold

My cars been stood a while as did the head gasket.

Have had it running but seems to turn over for ages before starting.

Was running several times at the weekend but can't seem to get it to start now.

Have stuck the battery on charge as was struggling after trying to start for a few mins.

Any idea what it could be, have had choke on and at various levels but just won't seem to fire up now.

Any way to stop it mate?
I put a new one on it. But it's pretty damp and cold round back of my house. So prob not ideal. Plus no bumper and grille on car at the moment

Just take the cap off and put a small bead of silicone around it mate, does the job just the same.
