theres a 5 on ebay for £15000, its only got 30000 miles but isnt standard, i know some 5's are going for a lot of money but £15000 seems alot. is it someone on here ?
btw my question isnt meant to affend if it is you trying to sel it.

£15k is daft money.
A new unused or unregistered GT Turbo may be worth 15 large but that is all. It's nice to see that the prices for good GTs are rising but it's still a buyers market. People will only pay what they value a car at.
It does look nice but I'd be VERY supprised if it made half of the asking price.
Iv got a budget of around 5 k to spend but in all honesty I'm struggling to find one,
You just gotta bide your time unless you want a project.
For 5k you could sort a minter. £2.5k for the red torsion one on Facebook that has the 1.8l na engine. You'd get a c1j in there for not a lot, or you could get the car to Scoff for a turbo conversion.

theres a raider on ebay, im not keen on the paint work, its at £1200, been advertised before but didnt sell, you could use the balance of the £5k to get it to standard,

Yep thats the the thing with these kits It hides everything till its to late. my mate had a dimma Clio Williams kit and it looked mint till he had a little knock then noticed all the rust underneath

I own one and dam if that sells for that im selling mine lol but totally agree they hide soo much underneath I had mine completely striped , apart from the rear quarter's as the cost was getting mad and had her resprayed now a yr down the line i had soneone go over it with a fine tooth combe to be told she looks amazing on the out side but its just the kit holding everything together gutted as having to start again aftrr spending silly money on her so if honest by the time I get everything rippedfoff her and transfered across to the new perfect shell ill be near the 10k mark! i soo wish I had joined here first and new a thing about cars! as was told by another 5 owner i was ripped off I brought with my eyes closed and was told for that money could have brought a much better cleaner example on herebut hay you live and learn! cos of the money ive thrown at her and as stated could have nearly brought a t2 which was sort of the dream with this as there was no way I could afford a real one had to go for a look alike! my advise would be only buy one if you have been to see it now what your lookinh for ie rust and re welded parts and are able to do most work yourself otherwise it will cost you a small fortune like me and like me once you have put soo much time and effort in you have to keep going it out weighs the cost in the end. hope this isaint to long a message and doesn't bore anyone

oh mate!! but when you do you will know its sound and perfect and thats the main thing specially with sooo many nice examples on here and the up coming fives! cant wait till mine is all done only good thing is I wont loose my car while its being done as will only loose mine when the engine is transferred hehe and agree with the above statement!
