Hi mate, you have now created three threads for this one project.

Rather than clicking on "new thread" you just need to reply to the same one each time!

    cheers.

Good to see a nice solid base coming along. Looks good. I've shyed away from jacking points a year or two with patches I've done. Looks like you have just tipped her on her side? Great for welding access but is she not getting a bit crushed?

Thanks mate. Put a single bed mattress on floor and cos shells so light it doesn't crush. Just so much neater and quicker just to put jacking points on. Rest of outer shell nitramoesed and filled.

Car and bits already for paint shop. It went to a place I used to work for many years. RESHAPE, Sheffield 01142 754574 . It was painted and baked in oven. He states "he would sort/help, body work and paint anyone wanting work doing from this website at a good rate".

I think you should change your thread title, as it can be misleading...

Excellent work. Must be good seeing all the bodywork done. How long did it take to get to this stage now? From the pictures you make it look like it was a days worth of work.

    Great pictures by the way.

Factory type green steel brake and fuel pipes used. Harder to work with but, keep straighter better. Carbon fibre (supposedly) brake flexie hoses

Marky Mark, give me loads of advice and ended up re- building me the engine. Turned out it was a good engine he stripped and re-built ,new bearings, shells, timing, seals, gaskets, flywheel was already lightened he put a 270 cam in said it had piper springs I also with his advice ended up purchasing a cr turbo 25/t2 massive thanks to him for re-build, help and advice. Just had to put gear box on engine after sorting clutch painted everything stripped all wiring and checked it all. Got engine bay all connected as much as possible ready for dropping engine in.

    Re: Starting from scratch

Engine and box finally sat in car until 7 days later clutch didn't feel right I got paranoid that I had put the clutch in the wrong way round so I removed the engine and box again took the clutch off to find it was correct in the first place. Its a new genreno clutch cable so it must be the ratchet on pedal.
