    Has anybody done this ?

    Cheers

I'd get some hub centric spacers that act as the adapters for the wheels rather than butcher the wheels on a lathe.

Just get a decent machine shop to open it up on a lathe. Its common practise, hardly butchering a wheel. Far safer than spacers and cheaper.

I have in the past had wheel bearings go on me a lot quicker due to using spacers. Quick and easy option but in the long run pain in the arse and cost more!

Can anyone recommend a good machining shop near London/Herts.

    Cheers
