What grade oil do people use?

Hi guys just wanted to get a rough idea of what type and grade engine oil people are using, please state weather it's low compresion engine or standard, I'm using 10w 40 castrol semi gtx in low compression engine, any thoughts on this oil for this engine setup, cheers guys

Compression shouldn't affect the type of oil you use

I have used 10-60 fully synth for years went to 10-40 semi synth recently then changed back to 10-60 after it was making less pressure with the 10-40.

15w-40 semi synth as originally when new mineral oil specified, depends on state on tune, if tuned alot maybe other grades, poss fully synthetic
