    clutch cables....

just wondering, ive been finishing the last bits on the efi car today etc, as the ole girl made 270 on the rollers with a stretched cable thought id best replace it so I bought a genuine from mike, weird thing is its too long..., even with the spacer dave reed made up etc it had too much slack....
Did reno make a short one and a long version???, weve taken it and another to a cable specialist to make them both with adjustable threads but I thought id ask on here....

I asked Mike that same question after i couldnt and still cant set it up correctly. My problem is when the pedal gets to a certain height the quadrant pops offf the ratchet(or the other way round)Mike informed me that it is the correct length.

there where 2 cables and 2 pedals

white and black colour ratchet mechs.

think most where changed to white, when the cables snapped the first time but it wouldn't surprise me if with the change from apple to pc in dialogys that the part numbers got changed

that or renault found stock of the old cables and forgot there was a difference!!!!

A few have done it on here already.. I think you can use Suzuki swift stuff Or go down the breakers and hunt around.. You could probably use honda stuff too.

File the pedal stop down to let the ratchet click round further. Or remove pedal stop let it bite push pedal down and refit pedal stop.
