    R5 tunny grey, light damage

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Just testing the water before I go getting pics and specs. I have my little 5, owned it for years, she had a little impact on an Armco barrier on the snake pass, fairly low speed. Pushed in the front left headlamp and wing, then scuffed and dented the rear wheel arch. Needs some body work and I can't really justify spending the money, hence thinking of selling. Decent spec, t2/25 turbo, gaz coil over, oz 15" alloys, new rear tyres, side exit, stripped rear seats, lots of silicone hoses, 285 mm billet 4 pots. 180 ish bhp at 20 psi. Great car. Anyone interested in finding out more? Open to sensible offers.

Ok. Seems there is some interest. Will get pics and specs up today. I notice a white one with simiilar damage but less spec went for £1800 so wouldoprobably start at £2000 but am open to sensible offers especially to a club member as RTOC has served me well over the years!

By the way it says new poster but its because I had my membership ported over. I'm sure some folks will vouch I've been on here since around 2003 :-)

Below are the details of my 1989 Renault 5 GT Turbo.
    Photos and videos here: http://s1008.photobucket.com/user/samuraiesu/library/R5%20For%20Sale
I bought this car from a friend who was in the RTOC who in turn had bought it off another chap from RTOC (Chris Heyward I believe). I spent a lot of time on the car, and not nearly as much driving it. It’s been on two track days whilst I have owned it, and done some (but not many) road miles. In the last four years I think it’s done about 4 miles (literally!) which is the distance to the MOT station and back. I never get time to use the car and painful as it is, I’ve got to let her go. As you know unfortunately she’s had a small impact on the passenger side resulting in some body work damage, see details further down. Nevertheless there is a lot of kit on the car which if broke and sold separately would fetch a good price, hence if I don’t attract a reasonable price here I will go ahead and break the car, but it’s always a shame to take one more 5 off the road.
