    Oil Pump Shot?

Before taking this video, I checked to see if oil was making its way up to the rockers and it all looked ok. I'm not sure if the gauge is playing up or if it's time to replace the oil pump? The gauge stopped working completely (was reading 0 but no red light) the other week, but again, oil was squirting up to the rockers which gives me doubt.

It seems to respond to higher rpm...

    Any thoughts?

    Cheers.

I wouldn't count on the standard gauge at all, get a mechanical oil pressure gauge plumbed in and check the pressure properly.

more than likely its the built in gauge or the connections as it sits right at the front of the engine bay and will be open to all sorts of crap getting at it. try cleaning the connections to see if that works. but for pece of mind you could get a oil pressure gauge and plumb that in. just spent the last few hours cleaning the connections for my speedo that just stopped
