Nad the s3 is stage 2 custom map running just over 270 bhp and 280 in torque so does go quite well, was completely standard when bought it, only done 55000 miles now so low miler

Re: My Electric Blue Renault 5 GTT

    They're different colours

From factory one is plated & one is black

    https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthrea...ight=Top+mount

    Black o/s
    Gold n/s

    https://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthrea...ight=Top+mount

Pictures in there show which side is which, side by side they should be noticeably different, I was a little concerned you have two the same but can't tell from the pictures

Instead of repainting one why don't you simply and neatly mark them up as drivers side or d/s and passenger side or p/s? I would still forget which side the gold one is, lol.

Ye my mate is always going on about him when his car comes into conversation, well when it's broken. He did want to take his there but the distance stopped him. The only maps I'm good with are the book type so you've lost me. A bloke at work has taking his 61 plate audi (not sure what it is but it's red and very nice ) and had no problems and another work mate will be taking his 10 plate skoda Vrs there soon so they can't be that bad. But hey what do I know

Re: My Electric Blue Renault 5 GTT

got a bit done this weekend fitted the suspension arb bushes and new air filtter

had to cut my new phone hose as the original one i cut was to short. It was quite tight but all fits well now and i have not got worry of water getting through the filter from the bonnet vents

had to charge the battery as it was low not stated for around 2 months

The front was much lower the the rear and always caught bumps and was so hash did not like it at all. Car sits so much better now will settle a little more after a while and when driven

ran the car for a good half hour and moved it up and down my drive a few times
    everything seems sweet

then wiped her dry and put the cover back on.
Tax runs out end off month going sorn it till aprill and the weather is better

Re: My Electric Blue Renault 5 GTT

got a few more bits of bling for the 5 plus spent a good hour with the dremil polishing my oil breather pot

not perfect but a lot better first time i have ever polished anything to tell the truth

got some original rear badges only going to use the renault part as my gt turbo bit looks ok

rear exhaust surround as the previous owner had made a cut in the rear bumper and i always hated it so this hides it well
also got a some bling for top of radiator

Re: My Electric Blue Renault 5 GTT

    time for an update

Changed breather pot and put my ninja cap on with my new elf sticker

Some bling for top of rad

Changed my heater knob as it broke on me a few months ago

Also changed the passenger side seat belt so there both new now

Put my stickers on the car plus put my chrome surround on, hides where the bumper was cut in the past even though I had to cut it a bit more to fit. I'm happy with it so all good

Took my moulded badges off and replaced with originals

    Old

    new

Then I noticed I had a some play in my steering, drivers wheel with a slight knocking. First I thought wheel bearing but turned out to be the drivers side track rod and the ends could do with changing to.
    Got the bits from gsf

    new

    tracking all done and taxed

Fitted some badges to my floor matts

Checked my camber as I never have since putting my phase 2 set up on, was just a quick check should of taken off my centre caps really.
Both are at just over 1 neg camber and does handle better then it did with this set up

got a new boost controller , some new washers as I had a slight leak from my rocket cover plus changed my sump plug washer to a copper one also with an oil change plus managed to do 1 door card with some bigger speakers fitted with adapters

all fitted and set up to 15psi

the other door card and speaker fitted also cleaned the car inside and gave it wax to
