Changed the shocks to some Sachs super touring, stiffer then standard setup saying that the shocks that came off were quite stiff, the passenger side was ok not leaking oil but the rubbers were fooked old Spax by the look of them.

Re: My Electric Blue Renault 5 GTT

Took my front pads out as they were so noisy when braking so gave everything a clean and put some copper slip on the back of the pads, I know up rated pads are noisy so hopefully this works

Also got some seat plastics as my inner ones on my car were missing

Fitted my inside covers so I now have all 4 the inside of my car is complete now

Gave the car and wheels a final gloss wax, car is now ready for FCS took it for a good spin all seems sweet

See you all tomo let's hope it does not rain to much

    Looking good dude
I need to do the ball joints on mine soon, flagged up as an advisory on the MOT yesterday.

The seats arent supposed to have the plastic on the inside but it definitely tidies it up a lot

A bit off topic but that G3 Turbo Detailer is awful I tested and reviewed it before it was released. 3 different formulas and they were all as bad as each other.

Little update Mark still has the 5 as my liners were shot so I thought I would get some new liners and piston set also a bottom end gasket set, valve stem seals and a rev limiter.

So everything is now with Mark
So instead off getting it back and having a boost around I'm going to have to drive like a granny for 500 odd miles oh well better get road trip organised

As i said earlier car back a few weeks ago after engine rebuild and new turbo, cams etc fitted. I first done about 90 miles then changed the oil and filter plus I fitted a gold plug the magnet is super strong.

I then took the car for a nice drive before it went away for the winter months
Few pictures drive down to Brighton from luton then back up to my parents house in London where the 5 has a nice double garage to its self
