Event / group buy tracking?

Hi there all,

Please don't bight me head off because I really don't know how much work may be involved with my queerie.......

On the old site it was easier to see how many people wherer showing an interest in an event by the options to say wether you would possibly or definitly attending a particular event. Can we do this on this site? if not would it be possible?

Could this be used for group buys also?

I know what some may be thinking about members putting that they where definitly attending and the didn't, but by not having this information may also mean that members thinking of going may not get in touch with other fringe members that they would if they knew they where at least thinking about it.
