    Any auto electricians on here??

    I have a 2003 megane. I've started having problems with the key card. It now takes ages to open and lock the car. Sometimes i stand there for a few minutes before the car will open. It has keyless entry too which has completely stopped working. Once I get in the car it always starts first time. Any ideas what I should be checking?

    First off you need to check your sanity for having one of those in the first place?
    Have you changed the battery in the key card? Does the key card rattle?

    There are aerials in each of the door handles, see if you can 'plip' unlock it near the boot lid instead of the side doors, if its the same you may have a key card problem. If you have a spare, try that too.

    I bet at least on of your buttons has worn out on the key card! Also the sensors in the door handles fail all the time. As matt said key card and battery is first place to start.
