    return valve help me plz

    hi guys does anyone know were the return value is because when i pump my pedal my revs go up i trying at the servo but could nt find it

    Check the one way valve on the back inlet manifold mate, if your not too sure where it is is directly behind the carb on the manifold there will be 2 of them one for the brake servo and one for the breather pipes

    follow the pipe from the servo to the manifold

    when you pump the pedal , the revs will increase . not by much but they do increase .

    its on the back of the manifold there are two of them

    the bit that looks like a big nut that bolts into the manifold is the 1 way valve.

    correct, not part of the pipe.

    you need a 21mm or 22mm spanner to undo the valve once you've taken the pipe off. you can check the valve by blowing through it both ways, obviously you should only be able to blow "into" the manifold, not out of the manifold

    it's normal for thr rpm to fluctuate when you pmp the brake pedal at idle

    but it goes from 1000 rpm to 1500 plus rpm that can be rite just by pumping the pedal?

    no , it isn't . if your tick over was 1000 rpm it would rise to about 1150 - 1200 rpm . but no more than that . some cars don't go that high .

    yeh so im going to check return values then look for air leaks after i done my heads gasket
