    maf question for the b18ft

Had my car out today to croft, it was running a bit iffy at York drag strip a few weeks back. Basically its running very rich at wot, it goes as low as the 10s.

I know 12.2 is what it should be running at. The car drives ok through the gears but if I floor it in 4 or 5th I get 10s and it splutters so it must be over fuelling.

Do I need to adjust the maff sensor if so what to, I remember putting a multi across the two pins but can not remember what it was and which pins.

What's the best way to set it up at idle or just keep blasting it at wot for a good 12?

Does the maf even adjust the wot or is it more for idle?

maybe a bypass hole is needed, help me out guys

depends what boost you are running but maf is mainly for idle and light throttle, have you fitted bigger injectors? best way to lean out at wot is to up the boost of fit a bigger blower Make sure theres no air leaks etc...

Orange injectors Gary, I could try some more boost only at about 15 psi.

What's the best idle afr readings to go for?

Idle you want around 14.7. You could try running more boost but I don't think that will lean it out enough. You will most prob have to make a bypass hole, you want to make it in the middle between the maf and the turbo, 32mm is suposed to be the magic size but you could try smaller first if you want. Try just adjusting the maf first as you're only running a bar of boost, Measure the maf from the two outer pins iirc 650 ohms is for a bar.
