Oil choice is all smoke and mirrors IMO. As long as you change it and the filter regularly with the original spec stuff you won't go far wrong . Just how do you judge whether an oil is doing it's job better than any other ?Unless you want to strip and inspect the lump every year .
I always use Halfords own semi-synthetic (in the green tub)

halfords is comma oil in there own bottle
