Hello guys small update.
New rad come down today.
It's quite well made, and fits well. Other than not being polished very well, and polish being left on it its all good
Although this is just basic engine work that I've been doing its a learning curve I've enjoyed. been toying with the idea of f7p turbo for a while and I feel confident enough to take it on and give it a go.
So today I've been given a lump which has had new crank fitted 3 years ago and not moved since. My plan is to finish this c1j get it running well at a reliable 16 psi.then start this new one ..
Thanks guys. Also if anyone has any advise to do with the f7p conversion please fire away ears are open and ready to take it in!
Nice one kial
Right hope Somone can help, I've got a load of pics I want to share with you lot but my photobucket app on my phone won't let me upload. How else can I get the pics straight from my phone to here ? Thanks in advanced
I like the look of the way this is shaping up! Those Willy wheels look great
Top stuff loving the dedication and work going in to this
Wow I love that colour, keep the pics flowing
agreed! Willy Wheels look fantastic and the body colour looks great too. Keep the pics coming.
I'm back lol pics to follow shortly
Who like glass finish? Lol
Down pipe... Ebay special don't buy one lol... Causes the exhaust to touch steering rack

Speakers fitted and with light underneath that are now connected to the door switch. Waiting for carpet to arrive to carpet the rear
That's some amazing paintwork fella, I know it's your profession but credit where it's due for me, top work. Is this straight from the gun?

Very smart!
That colour and finish is fantastic
Looks great
wheels and colours work nicely
That looks lovely mate, as already said the bodywork and wheel colour combo looks really well
Thanks a lot guys appreciate it.
Turbo went on the weekend unfortunately. Shaft is as loose as your local lass. Thinking about leaving it for now untill I sort the f7p lump, pointless buying two turbos :-/
Some parts for the f7p
Same as every one else has said, colour and wheel works really well.
Like the sticker on the wheels idea to.
Lovely pal
thanks josh
cleaned the f7p motor up on my lunch today looks tidy gonna get started on that tonight!
Looking good.nice to see something a bit different. Did you paint the car with the body kit on?
This may be really stupid of me, as I know nothing about painting. Could you give the car 2 coats lol, one with bumpers and kit off and another with kit on??
looks good, not sure on colour though... still undecided whether orange works on a GTT with grey wheels....
Not been on here in a while, not much has happend on the 5 front for me other than endless messing about trying to get it to run right. Find myself constantly learning by mistakes (expensive mistakes)
Anyways I've bit the bullet and have agreed to buy a f7rt engine from a known member. Hoping progress will start in the next month will keep this thread updated 👍
I'm containing my excitement
Excellent kial. Keep the updates coming.
Wonder who's engine you're buying then
Looks awesome in that colour!
I'll second that ^^^^^^ look forward to the updates ☺
Nothing physical has been happening just endless phone calls and emails trying to sort a courier to deliver to me. 2 weeks of headaches for me and Artur. happy to say it's all sorted now and the engine is on it's way 👍
Here's some pictures of Arthur's hard work to keep this thread alive till all arrives
Couple other goodies packed in there also
That's all for now. Hoping to take the 5 to another new home to start work sometime soon Will keep this up to date 👍
Kial that is looking great, well done matey
Nice work Kial. Excellent progress. F7R is looking sweet too.
Looking good mate.. Getting there
