    CV change.. whole new shafts?

    So went looking for new cv's and all i can find is a whole new shaft :S cgb are selling what i prosume are recon shafts for £70, will this be as good as im going to get?
    And if shafts are able to get reconditioned then there must be cv's still availabe no?

    its a stupid big tripoid thing on them.... the inner end knocks off but the cv end doesnt.

    cv joint has a brass ring clip this needs to be opened and the cv joint can be slid off best off buying some second hand ones and new gators and pick the best bits and make your own if you want to save some cash, thats what i did anyway

    Perfect that sounds like a plan! The spare r5 will get ripped apart tommorow and see if thier any good! Thanks
