To those who made it through customs unnoticed, how many days did they take to turn up?

    Just collected mine.........£12.65 lighter

All because of VAT - Really???????? do i not pay enough just to be allowed a small result - f**king pissed off

I would say however, the quality of these is good, wether they stand the test of time is something we'll have to wait and see

I agree, they have all the stamps and moldings etc.........the company specialise in automobile lights so no doubt they are produced over there for EU companies anyway!

    Re: New genuine fake foglights

The reason everyone now getting tax'd is proberly due to all of us jumping on this and buying them.

If you look at it this way, the odd set popped through, now we're all buying them and he using the same delivery company, their thinking hang on, what's with all these same size and weight parcels heading to England and boom, taxes added as clearly business items being shipped.

Now, yes, some of you now got stung extra fees, but really, small price to pay being extra £15-20 when you look at it like this, Mike can get you o.e. ones here but your looking at £120 plus vat EACH!

    So £120 + 20% = £144

    x 2 total = £288 plus post.

Now, do you still think paying the extra tax has made it now not worth while?

Oh and ps, I didn't have to pay any tax etc and mine took 8 days to turn up.

Proper ones on the right so called copies on the left.Originals say made in Belgium and the so called fakes say Spain.Glass is slightly clearer on the originals.

    Re: New genuine fake foglights

Sorry to hear about the VAT charges on import. Think it's a bit cheeky the post office adding a charge as well tho!

Anyway denji lamp emailed me as some people have contacted them to say they were unhappy at the charges applied in the UK. They are considering offering those who have been stung with import charges and who are members on here a reduced price on a further purchase of these foglights on production of their import charges paperwork.

The purchase price they are talking about is $5, which I assume is plus the usual postage so a cost of about $30? Plus import VAT and post administration costs?

I will let you know more when they come back to me, or you can contact them yourselves providing them with a copy of your import charge document.

This obviously does not apply to people who haven't had the import charge.

    Hope this helps

    Steve

    Re: New genuine fake foglights

Here is the message from Denji about the offer they have for people who had to pay extra charges. You must buy outside of eBay so this is at your own risk and I am just passing on their message.

They were asking if we would be interest in the other renault parts they have, so I have asked them for a list of what they. Might be nothing interesting but you never know.

    Thanks

    Steve

If they pay the tax, $22 usd, they have one chance to buy it again by the item price $5 usd. (shipping to UK is still $22 usd.)
Of course they can buy it for their friends or anyone.
The new buyer just need to buy it from our official email (denji1978@gmail.com), not ebay. And show us the photo of tax receipt.

★Only the UK buyers who bought our R5 lamp in April is applicable .
We've added warning sentence on ebay as below in May:
●Some buyer's country may ask buyers to pay additional customs import tax.
United Kingdom customs always ask buyers to pay additional tax. Attention please.

I got a demand for £121.88 from Parcel Force.

Suffice to say I have completed a form to query this demand as the total cost for 2 lights was just £72.86!

Not happy I calculate that I should have to pay £22.57p

The loom swaps over chaps. I just took my loom off my old ones.
    Works a treat.
