5gtt not starting after winter storage??

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

Have had my Renault 5 turbo in storage for about 4 months and now it isn't starting. When I popped the bonnet there was quite a lot of condensation . This may not have anything to do with it but it turns over fine but just no fireing up.

firstly check the battery is fully charged, then pull the main ht lead off and check for spark, then pull the carb fuel hose off and check you have fuel also.

Can you hear the fuel pump run for a few seconds after it's turned over?

I had the same problem, last year, it was the fuel relay. Direct wire the pump with a 12v and try to start.

Bit of easy start down the carb inlet, soon get it firing

If there's condensation check for moisture in the dizzy.
