With all these copies/snides floating about does that mean the originals are even more desirable.

I can't quite see your logic here if I am honest. Renault want £200 for some decals. Two members have gone out of their way to get them for done for £100 delivered. I have an original OE gear knob still in its renault packaging. I def wouldn't care if someone started knocking out copies that looked bang on. I'd be happy that a relatively rare part was available again brand new

the main reason it started as dave wanted a set on his tungy and i wanted a set for a white five . so we worked together to make these happen. plus not everyone has 200 quid to throw at decals. 100 quid is enough, and it will help alot of people have there five back to o.e looking.again i cant see the issue???
as said sell yours on, get some copies. no one will no the difference.

It's all a con. Because you get a tracking code, people assume it's tracked. The only tracking info you get it, is when it's been sent, and when it's been delivered. There's nothing to say where it is, or where it's traveled. So if it gets lost, tough.
Recorded Delivery items are not kept separate from other mail, unlike Special Deliveries - Which are treated like gold dust, and scanned/signed for, by everyone who comes into contact with them.

It's not 100% bang on, but it's Royal Mail's flagship service, and if we feck up on a Special (loose it, damage it, leave it with a neighbour without permission, sign for it), we can get sacked on the spot. I never use Recorded, unless specified to by the recipient. It's the biggest waste of money service out there.
had a few payments as a gift and a few that wasnt . would be great if people could gift as we aint making money on these through the club.
the postage we have done as cheap as possible to help. paypal fee`s on these are £4.57 so we are losing our own money.
if your worried and dont want to gift can we be a pain and ask for £103.57
if you can gift then its still £99 or send a cheque

i was a postie too mate not now so i know how it works the recording delivery system is a very basic tracking system yes it lets ya know when they were posted, and when they were delivered not the bits inbetween it does travel with the main post but still has a tracker on it
A tracker that you can't track
If it doesn't get signed for, then you have absolutely no idea where it is. All it'll say is when it was posted. What good is that?

I've now re sent the money and been charged extra £3.57 anyway, as well as now annoyingly got the refund of the first £99 I sent stuck on temp hold via PayPal.
Anyway, done now.
Ps, no gift option comes up, I only get these two options!

I didn't get charged anything extra for paying via a gift to friend or family either.
I may be wrong but its charging you for using your card but if you have money in your pay pal account already then you don't get charged i think
if you use the mobile app you will be charged if you use a lappy or desktop you wont dont ask why its like that but it is
