would any of these work for a r5 central locking?

We all know a r5 plipper and receiver is pretty rare. But for people not fussed about it being 100% oe - would any of these kits be 'plug and play' and that way I could use a remote to unlock the 5 - rather than take a key close to the paint and unlock everytime

Any of the universal stuff will work well enough but, if they have some kind of anti-scan or key hopping function then that's better again.

They will all need some sort of wiring. If it just plugged in, it wouldn't be universal.

Does your central locking work ok if you use the button on the centre console to lock/unlock it?? If yes then that kit should be ok.

Remember to wire it with positive lock/unlock locking pulse....

To be honest mine was a abit of a pain in the arse had to wire the universal module to the original locking loom.. Worth it though!
