    Volvo turbo options ......

    Shown below is the standard volvo unit currently on my B18ft, Im looking to uprate it to something with a bit more donkey!!( 20 psi max ) Now i would like to keep the manifold if possible and just change the compressor housing and core. Is this possible?! and other options please. Cheers Nick.

    Something like a ktr180 should fit in. Anything bigger would involve changing the rear housing and downpipe

    Best bet is to get a custom downpipe made then you have a large variety of turbo options.

    Think someone on here was trying out an old t25 of a Saab, can't remember who though.

    I think the saab's were t3's?
    I would change the downpipe/elbow too, for t25 flange, as mentioned you'll be able to fit t25/28's, without it you still have the restriction of the std t2 housing.

    I'm looking into a hybrid turbo which still uses the original rear housing so no need for a custom made downpipe
