Perhaps we should give Steve a shout on what he's got planned at the start of next year?

to be honest power doesnt really mean alot on track. The corners are the fun bits you'll be able to go more than fast enough to scare yourself with the std 120hp lol

Just watched it... shame we couldnt see the speeds round the corners to compare.
150mph impressive but they didnt have the chicane in the straights that we had.

I know I'm really going to have to stiffen up the suspension my 5 handles poorly its the cars week point it's what I was saving for before the Ronals came up. Easy fix though. What suspension you running?

    Re: Next years events

Gaz coilovers, i personally think suspension doesnt matter as much as getting the geometry set up correctly with the right tyres. Take the cup cars for example, almost standard suspension huge ride height but handle very well. I think my next purchses maybe along the lines of longer wishbones so that i can adjust my camber(my tyres too close to the coilover to adjust at the bolt holes) either that or redrill my top mounts.

    Re: Next years events

Lower stiffer springs seem to help for the initial turn in, the car settles in quickly, and for chicanes its more stable and changes direction well. But saying that, watching jesus car go through the chicane was insane and his ride heights not particually low.

Alex has the Koni yellows i think and his ride is really good, great all rounder i think.
I went with the coilovers because i wanted to lower it alot, but ironically the wheels ive now got are the wrong offset and even with about 1cm spacers i still cant lower it enough without the spring/collar touching the tyre

The first event I have planned for next year is the Sangliers jolly on May 31st - Jun 2nd then The RTOC Festival is planned for 27/28 July.

The weather & events earlier in the year is so unpredictable, but the club would be open to promote any events the members have in-mind?
