    s2000

as most of you know,i stripped my 5efte r5,and it was replaced by a honda s2000.i knew even before i bought the car it wasnt going to stay n/a.so i bought a tts rotrex kit,and had the resrtrictor opened up,and then sent it down to scoffs for mapping, where it made 420bhp
heres a pic of the s/c kit

the car was quick, but it didnt have the kick a turbo gives you.so after a lot of thought i removed the s/c kit,and bought a kings performance stage 2 turbo kit which arrived this morning

my aim is to get it fitted over the next couple of weeks and then send it back to scoffs for mapping before xmas, hopefully it will make 500-550bhp and around 350lb/ft tourqe

will get some pics as progress picks up

    Blimey!

They're impressive figures. Is that on standard compression and internals?

yeah, standard block, the bottom end is fully forged as standard(pistons, rods, crank) but they dont advise on going over 600hp but there is a few that have

    Re: s2000

I thought I would update this thread,to cut a long story short I ended up letting scoff fit the turbo kit.and he's done a top job
The final results are 526hp and 344 lb/ft torquethe torque figure would have been higher, but he detuned it as the diff and half shafts aren't the strongest.
The best bit is the car drives so much better,I'm guessing this is to do with the power sapping supercharger removed.at low revs(5k and below) it revs a lot more freely, also upgrading to injector dynamic injectors has prob helped.
Oh and it's a lot faster now lol,it sounds pretty quiet until it hits 5.5k and the external wastegate sounds mental
    Here's a few pics

I'm also in the middle of upgrading the brakes as I was getting brake fade on the oe setup

Gotta love the engineering which has gone into the Honda engines. Would've made tuning our renaults alot easier!

Thanks for the kind comments guys, nah wasn't me,although I have been tempted to do the wheels black, not sure what it will do on the 1/4 mile, maybe tempted to take it to the last event at York dragway.then if it brakes the misses won't be as bothered as summer will be over
