    Are the inner wheel arches needed

    I'm just prepping a 5 tl for my drag toy,

    The shell is on a diet at the moment s d I wondered if I need the inner front wheel arches for strength fur the chassis or anything ??

    keep them,your not going to save much by chooping them out,anyways you will loose strength imo,bad move!!

    If you did cut them out you would need to fit some kind of brace to replace the strength.

    Best way to do something like this is to cut the whole front of the car off and tube it, like so.. Then you can mess around with where you mount the engine ie in front of the front wheels.
