I owned it from 1997-2007 & in that time it covered aproximately...........0miles.

It was a project then & its still a project.lol

She'll get used again one day I'm sure. Only when its dry of course. lol. I covered a whole thousand miles this year, that plent of use.

At least I can use her if I want to, is your's any nearer to being actualy running yet ?

I've just done a engine rebuild on it for Tank (Bigbadboytank) and fitted a few various bits he's bought for it, quite abit of work done to it over the past year and is running lovely again.

Got to say one of the straightist 5's i've seen underneath

well due to my long running partner in crime Markey mark it is now back on the road, MOT'ed tax and running very well.

she has had a lot done this year but is looking even nicer then the photo attached.

I brought her in 2008, even drove to Germany and back before she spent a year off the road.

if you have any old photos mate it would be nice to get some off ya.

Didn't deserve to be a project off the road for over 10yrs while I had it. But in my defense I always had at least 1 other 5 & usually another car as well. Thats my excuse & I'm sticking to it.

I'm guessing its so good underneath as it wasn't used & in storage for so long, so never saw rain or salt for 10+ years.

It was meeeeee.lol. Glad its finally gone to a good home mate. I love ph1's have regretted selling it ever since tbh, but I did have/still have a minter of a ph2 so I can't complain really. I'd still love to get another ph1 but in Leccy Blue or Pearl & totaly standard. Strangely I really love the ph1 standard rims.

I do have some old photo's from when I sold it, they are not to pretty but I'll dig them out & post them up for you mate.

Cheers guys.. fo' real OSTP, its the same car that was featured in that French Car mag back in 2008. I couldn't believe my luck when it came up as had been hunting for a minter for ages.. the fact that it was a tungy as well.... its identical to the 5s my pops and uncle had all those years ago. I've had some plates made up 'H226 KOP' and gonna do a photoshoot in the exact location where there original pics were tacken back in Aug '90.

The original 1990 GTTs came from the big Renault dealer in Digbeth (don't know if its still there, haven't been to Brum in ages)

.theres a radier around this area and have a good guess its from the same renault its nice as well.as sparkie said yeh that renault is still there but still each time you go into there for parts like nothin is realy sharp enough to look at tbh now

the last time i remember going the clio v6 was in the show room in blue looked realy nice

shame i didnt get a pic though.has your dad still got the tungy one any more or not?

very lucky to find such a clean example of a 5 like that and not used for a long time.

Got my eye on a standard front bumper atm if it doesnt go for too much.
My moneys gone on a wideband AFR atm (being delivered today

).
Also have a standard spoiler to get on when I get it sprayed up...
