Still, though, no photoshop to achieve the effect, just a wee bit to get rid of the rig arm attached do the bonet.
If anyone wants shots like that let me know. Its pretty easy to achive cause the rig is all built up already.

Thanks man, really. Sometimes I love that fact it completely standard and some times I just wanna tear into it. I asked Dave "Dave-SBS" about painting the kit black so I didnt have to worry about the standard fade but he adviced against it as theres not many Phase1 kits kicking about without paint in really good nick. I totally agree with him now.
Im thinking about picking up another 5 though just to work on!

it was a really sweet ride excellent boost pick up and very sound body,looks like it still is

mine needs the skirts putting on and idealy a fresh spray-over. i was tempted to get a tungy kit for it in the summer, like the 'not-normal' one. but i liked the rarity of the grey stuff

No way! Thats awesome. She still runs great. Needs a good clean but def in good nick.

Its at the 48000 mark now. Still drives really nice. Had it on the RR recently with some RTOC peeps in Ayrshire and it came in at 118 bhp which is so close to the estimated prodution bhp for 1986 so I was happy.
If I mod the engine at all it will prob just be a T25 turbo and a front mounted intercooler. But I dont know cause I feel I should keep it standard. I think Ill always keep the aesthetics standard except the suspension.

Mentioned you, dunc, the bodyshop and auto elcetrian and the club but non where mention.. i had notoiced that the spec (Data file) took up the whole page and the thanks apart is normally just after the interior writing. email sent tho so might have a add on next month

the article in the french cars mag of the vag 5 looks ok, however i threw it aside when i saw this months[jan] issue of performance vw
has anyone else seen how cleeeeean the mk1 golf is on the front coverand the engine bay! i love that minimalistic look. bloody awsome looking car.
