Yeah that price was for TRW, national discs and I believe ADL they were within a £1 of each other. We dont deal with Pagid I think about 4 different suppliers and about 6 different types of discs is enough, too much choice sometimes

    Re: club shop

the only problem i can see with brake discs, oil, starters, alts etc is the postage costs to receive and then to send out thus loosing the saving?
spoken to the sticker place today. side decal replicas are no problem and would be at a good price providing i can supply them with a scanned in version on pdf or similar formats, their scanner could only do the wing and qtr decals. once i have it on file they can provide all the colour schemes from the one copy, its just a case of colour matching the ones on cars first time round and keeping notes of the codes. any other colour schemes for example light grey/orange on mine would be possible too but at a small additional charge due to it being a one off. no prices as yet as still need to contact some companies regards the scanning as that cost would have to be absorbed too.
same applies for any other stickers, batches of any colour rtoc logos etc. i can get these made up using existing ones to keep costs down as they dont have to design them from scratch. window stickers can be the inside or outside type, although outside are cheaper.
they also offer various styles of clothing, prices do vary due to the initial cost/quality of the clothing prior being labelled up, again i can take in existing items so they can offer similar/better quality. names on the back, photo's of your car on the front etc can be added also at an additional cost/turn around time, but at this stage i think it will just complicate things. could get others made, like the renault for life stickers
the place also works in with another company who they can put me in touch with who deals more so with car related items, so we could get the likes of the rtoc tax disc holders, rtoc number plates, key rings etc. again there are variations of price dependant on styles but i think keeping a std format makes it easier.
while i was there i remebered they do other things, again i would have to provide a sample and would have to be ordered in batches but they do lexan in a range of colours and thickness so they can offer sets of windows, again for my 5 they could do orange, or smoked black versions and for the fussy buggers they can add on the corner logos, qtr window black surround, and rear window orange heaters (although he'd have to do a trial one due to the very thin lines). i didn't discuss prices as they vary on colours etc.
they are very keen to help and get the detail perfect, and still do items at a good price providing i do the leg work.

so all thats needed, once i've sorted a company to scan and convert the files, is some members to provide the samples

Well done Chris, like I said earlier, think keeping it simple and to unavailable bits is the best idea.

Will help if you setup an account but at the end of each month you get hidden charges that will need to be added in somewhere. Fuel supplement etc. Bubble wrap and cardboard. Members who live in the Highlands and Islands there are extra charges applied by the courier companies. These all need to be taken into consideration. VAT is a killer at the end of it all.

You can use a pay as you go but the time taken to process several items each day is too long and they over charge on longer items.

    Hope this is useful

Mike is that postage that you mean? Fill in a separate courier form for each item and calculate the fee rather than a flat rate?

All the parts used to be available from Volvo for about £25.

RTOC would have to buy them and then charge postage on top.

That's not a problem, my experience of dealer parts departments ain't that great. I'd be prepared to pay a little extra to make sure I got all the right parts

I wrote this article 11 years ago and updated 7 years ago so I don't know if all the part numbers are still the same.

That should help you get what you want.

They also probably take years to sell. If we got just a few in they price would be high.

I have all the stuff to start sending them out. Really the quicker this lot can go the quicker new stuff can come in, but like said normally takes ages to sell the quantity which need to be purchased to make it cheaper for people

You would have thought so like the fleeces and sweatshirts coming up to winter would go well but really until majority of those go which is taking up a lot of space won't look at t-shirts to then store as well. In few weeks will start seeing more items on there plus promoting items like the tow eye covers which got a nice collection sitting here

Just had a play around, looks like its not working clothing or parts, I will take a look through the options later on and see what is wrong with it. As code seems correct just wont do anything to the parts which I have in the basket.

I will check out the make of them and do some research on sizes for you. I will take a look at the extra large as that's what I normally go for and see how they normally compare to rest of items which I have of that size.
