Yours is a good example lee but depends on peoples taste etc. I reckon you would get 3500 for it

Thanks Josh.. I'd be happy with that.. Will try for £4k as you do! But that's about what it's cost me overall so if I get what I paid I'd be happy!
Don't want to sell yet though! Unless someone's got 4k to sway me :')

id say a better advert with more info and more importantly plenty of pics would help, and also stick the advert in the right section (classifieds)

You mention it`s been garaged since 2000 what sort of conditions was it stored in heated garage covered etc? What is the underside like for any corrosion usual places etc? condition of bodywork dents/scuffs/scrapes. Condition of brakes after being stored? Has the car been started up and or used during the 12yr storage? Is the car standard? Pics would be good as stated. I already have a decent restored 5 but could be interested if yours is better to keep longterm thanks for any info..

    Eh!? What's all that about??

You advertise a car for £4k with no pictures & a brief description & get no response & then ask if you've got to prove yourself!?

What is going on with the RTOC these days? There's so much bad attitude flying around at the moment it's unbelievable???

To think of some reasons why no-one has been in contact off the top of my head:

    • £4k is a good money for a GTT and in this current flatline economy people aren't frittering money away like they used to
    • We are in the peak holiday season so people are away with loved ones getting away from all the usual sh1t
    • I'd not show any interest in spending £4k on anything without seeing it

Chill out & write a proper advert in the for sale section with LOADS of pictures!

It's also worth mentioning you're trying to sell a GTT in the RTOC were most people already have a GTT.....

    Re: Low millage gt turbo

As said, im sure its a good motor but for 4k id want to definatly see photos showing
The sills , in particual the join at the mid point.
    under neath the sills,
underneath the edges of the carpets to see the inner sill condition,
the edges of the boot floor,
inside the drivers gril on the grill inside the boot
Engine Shots, maybe even a short video
how straight the car is (in particular the doors)

With a good advert the car will disappear rapidly im sure , but you do need just that, a £500 r5 can get away with almost no info at all, but 4k does need some care and attention really.

Remember the more photos the better bud
