clio 1.5 dci (k9k) injector seals

anyone had to replace one? mine is 'chuffing' and suspect and injector leaking

any tips/tricks? i work at peugeot and when pug ones leak they make a mess and have to be removed with engine red hot, also can i unplug and plug in without having to recode injector?

Same deal as pug/ford ones, in fact you can use the same kit to do them.

Don't unplug them with the ignition on, it can sometimes lock the injector in fully open and blast a hole in your piston when its started up.....

Don't need to recode them after being un plugged either, thats if you keep them in the same order.

could be worse, i've just snapped 6 out of 10 headbolts on a 1.5 dci kangoo i bought recently..... and then i found that the cam belt had gone too....

Try and clean all the gunk off and let them soak in wd40 before trying, ive removed loads and never had a problem.....1.9dci now thats a different matter ive lifted the front wheels off the ground with a traffic while using a slide hammer and it wouldnt come out lol.

If it`s the bottom brass/copper (unsure of the material) washer seals you mean then get new ones as if they are leaking there will be a nice groove in them where the pressure has escaped, once out get a thin long plain screwdriver and clean up the face they seal on on the head as best you can and as you said heat is the key for removal and if you can, heat up the washer just before you put it in as it will soften the material slightly (brief warm up with a lighter, not to much)and will help it mould to the shape of the injector and head surface to give a better seal,(may be bulls*#t but always worked for me)
