    Injector choice

    Good morning RTOC.

I've some how got my car running on efi.

What injectors should I be using? According to Garrett my turbo will be maxed out at 260hp. So was thinking I'd need some injectors for 270hp to be on the safe side just incase it ever gets close. At the mo I'm on some borrowed 802's@3 bar

    Re: Injector choice

Right just changed it from 80% duty to 100% looks like I need around 425cc for the 270 max.

eBay seems to be full off impeza yellow and Bosch green injectors around that size. Anyone had much dealing with these injectors, which has better spray patterns ect?

    Re: Injector choice

I had some bosch green EV1 injectors (now for sale), spray pattern is non exsistant just a jet down, but as worked out for around 270 duty cycle is around 100% hence reason of upgrade to 500cc injectors

What numbers on them? Possibly the same 21 turbo injectors I'm running now as they're green. In which case happy days for me

    Re: Injector choice

Dale I think that's because on the 21 they only run 2.5 bar fuel pressure but on those 16v turbo conversions they probably wack it up to 3bar if that makes much difference.
