that seems pretty strong money for a non runner in that condition, not sure i would take a punt on it but saying that i have seen much worse restored and im sure failing that CGB could make some money on the parts
the prices of 5s seem to have gone up a lot over the last year you dont get nothing even for 2k never mind 500 lol
your probably right, in my mind you should still be able to buy a can of coke and an aero for 50p
a pound isnt worth anything like it used to be and the 5's do seem to be getting to the point where because of a lack of cars available people are buying whatever they can get rather than searching for "the right one"
I wish I waited a bit longer for the right one.. But then again I was a novice and now after 6months I can rebuild 5s with my eyes shutnearly at the stage I want to be.. 2k for a decent 5? That makes me feel a little better.. Mines not mint by any means but it's not a bad 5 so 2k isn't too bad..
there are a few decent 5s about for the 2k mark but not many

What do you call the two red things on the bumper is that a mod I haven't heard? There must of been a day when guys were stood around after a hard days modding saying "that looks mint" "yer gives me 50bhp more"
They look like the ends of the portable air horns.
