    B18FT Coil

    Anyone got a pic of what it looks like?

    I've found a pic here but its a non turbo, does it look right though?

    no that aint right matey. should look like one of the tubular coils like the msd ones boltet to an alloy plate with a connection for the loom on it. well thats what mine looks like anyway

    Yea thats what I thought but when looking for coild on e-bay none of them have the right plug on them, they just had two ring terminals... as below

    My crappy memory tells me the volvo coil was a round type bolted to a plate that had a standard timer connector on it. There was another modern looking type, maybe only found on the NA ? But it plugs in and works with the B18FT.

    There is an amplifier on the bracket, which gets connected to the 2 coil pins

    thats it, it has the ignitor on the bracket. I remember now 3 or 4 pin timer plug I think.
