Renault 5 Good working bottom end, £100

I have the bottom end from my j plate r5 for sale. Reason for sale is that i pruchased a fresh rebuild from cgb as part of my r5 gtt full restoration (see project thread).

This engine has fresh oil/filter changes every 3k (usually far less) and when strapped to my t2/t25 at 18psi held very well and made for a very fast motor (ask anybody that went in it).

Since ownership (2 years) the car always had a slight tap from cold start however upon a rev this dissapeared and never came back. After some thought it was put down to being a slight piston slap on number 4 (if you search my previous threads you will find this discussion), this never caused any running issue at all however im very anal when selling items and prefer to mention anything.

Also included is a standard flywheel and a green box valeo clutch with plenty of meat left .

It engine comes compete with oil and grease acumilated from the years of running. however the pistons and liners appear spotless.

    Collection from swadlincote (de11) , 07526 946857

    £100 Cash on collection.

Ive no idea if im honest mate, as it wasnt the original engine fitted to my car.. I can tell you its had genuine filters and oil every 3k (usually sooner), and with the t25 and 18psi is pulled like a freight train if that helps.
