172 box in a 5

hi all, who here is running a 172 gbox in there 5 gtt and are you using the gtt gearbox mount? if you are an it can be done please post a piccy, i think ive broken the suspended mount on my clio 172 today and want to use a r5 mount to front subframe if i can but need to know if it will bolt to the box?

I use a 172 box on my 172 engine in the 5 and I use all the R5 mounts. The rear one fits the box exactly the same as it would in a 5. THe boxes are exactly the same externaly!

nice one ashtray, im now on the hunt for the front gearbox mount of a renault 5 if anyone can help? might need some jiggery pokery to fit the clio but im really not a fan of suspended mounts

Ahhh sorry my bad.

I read your post wrong. I use the rear mount but you cant use the front stabiliser mate. The 172 sump bolts to the gearbox so there is no space for the front stabiliser... Sorry.

not the stabiliser, theres a mount on the passanger side front of the gearbox????
