    GT2554R Garrett - any good?

    Hi chaps,

I just got my hands on a GT2554R, unfortunately it is not as described and has a .80 compressor and a .64 rear... not the .42 and .49 i thought. i know stuart clarke did well with one of these on the strip but will it be too laggy for the rally car? 285 and efi...

You could change the front cover for one with a smaller a/r, might need a bit of machining to fit the wheel. Try the .64 rear you might be suprised with how good it spools up

    Turbine
    -Wheel: 53mm w/ 62 trim
    -Housing: .64 ar
    Compressor
    -Wheel: 54.3mm w/ 60 trim
    -Housing: .80 ar

    Details above.

Brigsy, Blunty, I aam tempted to give it a go now! so will fab up as d/p as he included the v band bits. No experience with the gt series, had t2, hybrid t2, t25 .42/.35 and t28rb .42/.49.
T28rb was good top end but the t25 was mad... For 5 minutes...

The .8 ar front end confuses me though, sounds very small?
Also the .64 rear sounds huge - ill give it a try though!
