Werrington Hill Climb 5 May (South Devon/N Cornwall)

Hi all, just entered the Werrington Hill Climb in Mod prod for a fun days cheap motorsport.

Entry closes tomorrow, so if you want to come along with your car let me know ASAP 70 entry fee, otherwise camping Friday night and spectate Saturday. There are at least 2 R5s going so lets get the numbers up! Come on Jeezbus!!!

Just need to get my turbo sorted out in time A new T25 Roller bearing (.35 back end and 42 compressor - was EPIC)... Ball Bearing core has gone, and it shouldn't have!

Come along and live the dream! Anyone got a spare turbo they are selling

    Al

GT 2554R turbo purchased, but i think the .64 back end will be a bit laggy compared to my AdamL special .35 back end on my last T25R... mega boost by 3.2k

Anyone got a .49 back end they can part with for a GT25 core?

    LETS GO RACING!!!

What a great day out! Bright sunshine, and a great atmosphere in the paddock. Unfortunately the car wouldn't make more than 12-13psi boost all day, I have damaged the actuator I think... :-(

Still with 6 cars in our mod prod 1800-2.6l class we snuck in a second place and were only 1.5. Seconds off the pace! The extra 80bhp may have made a big difference if we had found full boostings... Maybe next year!

Great to see Boris and RobW turn up and support, I think Rob got some footage of a Hairy moment after the cattle grid breaking into the 90 left, so I'll link to Utube when I see it!

Have to say the hill climbing is awesome and more of you should get out there and compete! Lots cheaper than rallying!

Jesus - we need to plan a hill together!

    Cheaper than circuit racing too!!
Get loads of weight off the car if you are still in rally spec and intend on sprinting/hill climbing a bit more.

No James, it was a very tidy Satchez 205, carbon everything, mega light and big bucks engine. We were less than 2 secs off his pace on a long hill, and it was my first time there (he is a regular) /hill climbing and we were 80 hp down so i would like to think that if i ripped out the spare seat etc and got the boost right then we could have a go at a win next year ...

Wide track really helped and PAS felt really good, i just need more minerals as i couldn't help lifting over the crest!

James, wiscOmbe sounds good, and not too far to travel, perhaps we could get a good turn out?!!! Not sure who's 205 it was... I'll look it up.

Russel, PAS was fairly straight forward, Clio rack and 106/saxo electric pump. I'll send you through the install pics if you want?

The Colin satchel car, if its the one I'm thinking of has been in various hands, last time I saw it nick cleal used it at wiscombe and was very fast. White n blue with a shell that's been turned to swiss cheese.
