    A few little questions for the one's in the know...

    New poster! (less than 10 posts)

    Just a few little questons ladies and gentlemen as I'm starting to get my 5 ready to come back on the road, and it's been bugging me.

    Firstly, when I bought the car, the lad I bought it off told me never to use the choke. Why is this? Could the jets have ben f**ked about with and over fuelling?
    (I'm shortly going to be purchasing an AEM wideband from Mr. Scoff so I can at least set the fuelling correctly)

    Also, is there an easy way to find out what turbo is currently on and what psi it's running?
    This doesn't affect me too much as I will also shortly be purchasing a T25.49 from bw turbos, but would be nice to know.

    Do you know what spec the carb is at all? Sometimes these cars start well without using the choke so maybe thats the case but then yes if the main jet is fairly large it could be flooding it abit when on choke.

    You got an pics of the turbo and the ar sizes of the housings?
