    Post Another newbie saying hi.

    First post!

Great to find a decent site at last...

Just bought a megane 225 cup in grey..

Thought it was a bit different from your st's and golfs etc..

and a bit cheaper to run than my 400bhp scoob i just sadly sold..

first impresions on the motor is its seem fun to drive, good chassis and good low down grunt.

But...ive rushed into buying this particular one and broke every car buyers rule in the book.. still cant beleive i didnt get it inspected first...

so ive been mugged right off and bought a right dog that has had a good ragging..

had it no more than 2 weeks and its had 2 rear discs, caliper, and now a n/s drive shaft.. o/s will need doing soon.

n/s window works intermitant (take it its the regulator)

now the card wont lock or open the door without using the bottons..

but theres somthing about the motor that makes me want get it back to how it should be..

Hi ya, welcome to the forum

Sorry to hear you've got mugged off but to be fair a mate of mine had a megane and that ate discs and pads at a worrying rate

Nice looking motor though, get her fixed up and bring her to the national day at blyton park

lol And theres me thinking im going to save money..

its having a full interior shampoo and leather clean as we speak so that should cheer me up a bit..

i did try and start on the outside last week but then found out the locking wheel nut key was split so i couldnt take the wheels off for a deep clean.. that when the driveshaft failed..

I want one! Even more so after seeing yours

Been looking for the right one too, guess there's only so much you can check on a car before buying it. Mind you it looks great so worth spending some pennies on

    chears fella.

its like a moonstone colour similar to the cossie moonstone..

should come up nice with good day spent on it...
got a couple of door dings that need coming out and a couple of lower bumper marks.

but no swirl marks. which is nice..

cheers fella. been loking at your cup pics on track. looks cracking. havent been on track since early last year. so hoping i can make the megane good and get on track.

not sure about my gearchange on it as yet. its not returning when in neutral and is a bit ackward to find the gears when you get going.

chap but a clutch in it last year. i think his done something when putting it back..
