    cup car project

    Finally started to do some work on the cup car today.cleaned and serviced carb. Which went ok.so have to now get carb set up properly.Got quite a few small jobs to do but hoping to get a track day in the next month or so.

    Will try and get pics up tomorow.have a good one cleaning the carb in the wifes saucepan which went down well.haha

    When my cup cars finished im aiming for a testday at snetterton as a test day for Blyton just to make sure theres no problems,this will be a sunday if your free bring your cup car along for a trackday?

    Had a good weekend on the cup.Fitted wheels after giving them a spray.Replaced a leaking oil turbo pipe, got the fuel gauge working, fitted harnesses and even had time to give her a hoover out and stick in a magic tree.Now just master cylinder to fit and get her on the dyno.Thanks to jesus for the bits.Top man

    Going to test drive the coupe car tomorrow, the first time since doin the few jobs.A friend has a piece of land where I can give her some beans and check everything is all good..He also has a weigh bridge so goin to weigh her and see what she weighs.fingers crossed all goes well.will get some pics up tomorrow

    Took the cup out for its test day yesterday..Think bod182 (andy) jinxed me as the exhaust decided to drop in the middle.looks like a bad join.Didn't notice till i heard it catch the trailer ,at this point i was half on it.After much head scratching we eventually got her on the trailer. she drove awesome apart from small oil leak from bottom turbo union.The brakes have got to be looked at next. she pulls to left and something just don't feel right.(master cylinder maybe)Also she weighs a healthy 800kgs.
