One of my personal collection up for sale. Renault 5 GT Turbo

Time has come to release some of the money I have tried up in cars for a new venture. So I am selling one of my Renault 5 GT Turbos.

I have not advertised it anywhere else. I would like to see it go to someone who will take very good care of it.

This car has been stored away for the past 15 years. I have never had time to enjoy it, take it to National Day or POD. It has been started and driven around each month. Every time I take it out I get stopped and asked about it. Lots of people stop and take pictures when it is parked up.

It has had its yearly MOT & service every year. I have every MOT + Tax disc from new, Full dealership history, even down to the first owners personal check list for the options on the car. All Renault PDI checks, Handbooks and Dealer network options.

It has 2 registered keepers, Low Miles. Has its OE Stereo, OE Mats, no holes in the dash or any of the interior trim, engine bay if factory. All in all the car is one of a few that haven’t been played with. The folder of history is something else.

I know there are a few other excellent examples out there. Please see the attached pictures. Guide price 5K. The car has an agreed value of 6K. This is very strong money but I feel the car is worth every penny. If it doesn’t sell I will lock it back away.

I will happily keep it. Truth known if I didn't want to try something new I wouldn't have placed this add.

The only item changed on it is the exhaust, it has the Walker replacement system.
A few Local members have seen it in the past and may be happy to confirm the car is in very good condition.

The towing eye is in the glove box as I don't leave it on and forgot to fit it before taking the pictures.

Viewing by appointment and please bring proof of insurance.

I just know (and maybe yourself) that the mad scientist will be pulling the engine apart straight away and I don't think this kinda 5 deserves it!

I have seen this car on many occasions and I can honestly say this 5 is unique and it breaks my hart to think I have just spent the same amount on my engine and look what I could have bought mike if this is still available in a few months I may have to take it off your hands what a car

to me, those decals don't look original, not from what I remember, unless its a trick of the light. The grey "dotted" area is really light in colour, the same as the GT Turbo writing. On Red ones the "dotted" area was a very dark grey, almost black & the GT turbo writing was light grey. Thats how my 3 red ones were back in the day, I'm sure I have a photo or 2 to clarify this.

Thats the decals my old red one had, not the white... they came in both varients so its not a big issue.

Well got up early to go for one last drive and it is raining!!! What a pain! Hope the rain will stop in a while so I can dry the car off and have it looking A1 for when the chap arrives to collect. It doesn't often get a chance to see the rain, so a nice change on the last day with me. Do I take those last few pictures or just say good bye?

Yes went well. Marky Mark popped over for a cuppa and to grab a few bits. He arrived while I was waiting for the new owner to arrive. He got a chance to meet the new owner and have alook around the car. He has already made plans to take it to the French Car Show overseas, not sure if it is the same as the one here advertised on RTOC. So it has gone to a good home / owner. Here are the last minute pictures.
