    water system pressuriser

would anyone be interested in a water system pressuriser to test for leaking pipes, heads, liners etc?
i can get them made up for £5.
it's got a standard tyre valve in the top of it, so you can use a foot pump to pressurise the system.
THIS UNIT FITS RENAULT 5'S AND CARS WITH THE SAME EXPANSION CAP .

not evo's, or any cars like that....

Mart ive made a boost circuit tester

If you get a plumbing waste rodding access cap (come in different sizes) and drill a hole in the cap then silicone in a tyre valve it works fine.
I have pumped my system up to 3bar using it.

Stu, I use a baked bean can (with a tyre valve glued into the base), but it's all deformed & hard to get a good seal these days.

I haven't a scooby what a rodding access cap is but I'll look into it Cheers

    Re: water system pressuriser

Any plumbing/diy shop should have it.
Its solid plastic so wont deform.
If its too small a bit of silicon pipe as a spacer will wor, ive used the same 2"(50mm) fitting on 50/60/70mm pipe.
And a roddin access means you can unscrew the lid to let the pressure out.

I can make a few up if people want?

    thats the 1
get a 2" and it will fit straight into a 50mm boost pipe.

i connect mine to where the air filter goes, then you can test the full system inc boost control and you can even watch for what boost the actuator opens lol
